Uncovering a simple truth
Nonie Dwyer is renowned in Sydney food circles as the go-to gluten-free artisan baker.
Through wholesale distribution to select cafes and restaurants, her gluten-free breads in particular have earned her a loyal army of adoring fans, from coeliacs to non-coeliacs alike. The decision to extend her offering beyond wholesale to retail meant Nonie needed to refresh her brand.
We spent extensive time behind the scenes to fully understand the principles and ethos behind her approach. We learnt that her ingredients were chosen with the utmost care and that everything was made by hand with such meticulous attention to detail that it was obvious that the identity would need to somehow capture this.
The simple truth was what was required — telling that story visually.
By painstakingly illustrating and arranging the ingredients into the shapes of each of her products, the brand identity would be a direct representation of that care and attention to detail.
